Join us for the GCASPDX Kick-off, featuring Zoom presentations and lively in-person group discussion about our amazing new undergraduate program. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the GCAS ethos and the soul of the programme
we are co-creating.

Day 3 offers an opportunity for students and peer research workgroups to collaborate in the morning, followed by a fun and interactive gaming group lunch. After lunch, we'll head out on a Columbia Gorge drive-and-hike adventure on the way to our field work & research station.

Day 1 is an invaluable opportunity for researchers to gather and learn from each other. Invited and contributed interactive multi-media presentations and group discussions allow a comprehensive exploration of research topics and the
new GCAS BA Programme.

Field Day 1 offers an unforgettable experience! We'll travel to the Monte Cristo Natural Area to learn more about forest and northern spotted owl habitat management. We'll head back to our base camp for dinner & discussion and then study the midnight sky at the nearby Observatory. 

Day 2 offers "zoom-enhanced" progressive morning meetings and afternoon presentations. These innovative meetings provide researchers with the opportunity to connect with peers in an inclusive and interactive environment, while also helping to build a stronger sense of community.

Field Day 2 offers an all-day collaboration and research workgroup experience that allows students to discuss their research projects and/or explore the nearby towns and the thriving windsurfing community. This all-day program is designed to challenge and engage researchers in new ways.
